We have more than 300 individual storage units over our 3 convenient locations at LABRADOR, BROADBEACH & MIAMI on the Gold Coast. Our storage sheds are clean, pest controlled and we have video surveillance. You just place your own pad lock on the shed so you control who enters, you also have 24 hour, 7 days access to your storage shed. We are happy to help you with all your packaging needs, from the range available at our office. We understand that your possessions are important to you, so we can arrange insurance at an affordable rate if needed. We are a familly business that was established by Brian Jacob on the Gold Coast in 1980. After a trip to the USA, Gold Coast builder Brian Jacob, saw the success of the Self Storage industry, he decided it was time for a change in direction. On his return to Australia he purchased his first block of land at Miami, where Rent A Shed Storage was born. After a few years, Brian, seeing things were going well, decided to invest in another complex, so he purchased another block to create his second self storage site at Broadbeach. In 1991 Brian saw an opening for some storage needs in Labrador, this would allow Rent A Shed to be able to supply self storage for most of the Gold Coast, he invested in his biggest complex, which is now the main office for all of his Rent A Shed Businesses. In 2011, Brian, now in his 70's decided to enjoy his retirement and has passed the everyday running of his business to his children, Joanne and Scott. Brian, through his helpful, friendly and nothing is too hard nature, has built Rent A Shed Storage into a very successful business in the Self Storage Industry. His children will be working hard to continue the success that Brian has created. So if you need Self Storage, we look forward to helping you with all your storage requirements.
